Roxanne Ong is a family-centred Paediatric Occupational Therapist and the founder of Little Steps OT, supporting children aged 3–15 across school, home, clinic, and community settings throughout West Brisbane and Ipswich.

She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Queensland. She is a fully registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA, and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

With over a decade of experience working with children across Brisbane and Sydney, Roxanne has supported children with a wide range of developmental, learning, and sensory needs. Her experience spans clinic-based therapy, school-integrated practice, home programs, early intervention, and community-based services, with a strong focus on improving participation, independence, and functional outcomes in everyday environments.

Roxanne’s approach is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based. She works closely with families, teachers, and learning support teams to embed strategies directly into classroom routines and home environments, including movement breaks, visual supports, and executive functioning strategies that enhance regulation, engagement, and participation.

She is experienced in supporting children with ADHD, ASD, developmental delays, dyslexia and dysgraphia, ensuring therapy goals are aligned with both curriculum expectations and meaningful daily life skills.

Roxanne is known for building strong rapport with children and families through clear, compassionate communication and strengths-based coaching. Her goal is to support children in developing the confidence, independence, and skills needed to participate fully at home, at school, and within their communities.
